2. What the site does in your browser

The wage tables, guides, calculators and salary estimator run in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator and the choices you make in the estimator are not sent to us and are not stored after you leave the page. The only exception is the optional AI career advice described below, and only when you press its button.

The browser storage the site uses is listed in the Cookie Policy.

3. What we process, why and on what basis

Advertising is currently disabled while a Google-certified consent system is configured. Accepting the current banner only records a preference; it does not load AdSense. The advertising description below applies only after that setup is completed and the policy is updated.

Visiting the site (hosting, delivery and security)

Data: your IP address, browser and device information, the address of the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request.

Purpose: delivering the pages you ask for, keeping the site secure and diagnosing errors.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a website that works and is secure (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Who receives it: Base44, Inc., the platform that hosts the site, as our processor; it delivers the site through Cloudflare and uses the sub-processors in its published list.

How long: Base44 keeps these logs for as long as it needs them to keep the site secure and to diagnose errors; we neither choose nor shorten that period. No specific period for these logs appears in the material Base44 publishes that we have been able to review, so this policy states the criterion instead of a figure, and it will state a period if Base44 confirms one. Base44 explains its own practices in its privacy policy and in the Data Processing Addendum it applies as our processor.

Counting page views

Data: the section of the site that was opened (for example "articles"), sent with the technical data of the request above. Nothing is stored on your device for this and no identifier is assigned to you.

Purpose: knowing which sections of the site are visited, as totals in the Base44 dashboard.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time (section 6).

Who receives it: Base44, Inc., as our processor.

How long: as for the technical logs above.

Advertising with Google AdSense — only if you accept it

Data: cookies and similar identifiers, your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view on this site.

Purpose: showing ads, limiting how often you see them, measuring them and personalising them based on your activity on this and other websites. The banner offers a single choice for all of this; you can turn off personalised ads from Google in its Ads Settings.

Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and art. 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE). The AdSense script is not loaded until you choose "Accept" in the banner; if you choose "Reject" or make no choice, it is not loaded at all. You can withdraw consent at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Who receives it: Google, which for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, and its advertising partners. Google decides how it uses this data for its own purposes and is responsible for that use; it explains it at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

How long: as set by Google for its advertising cookies and data, which it describes in the page linked above.

AI career advice — only if you ask for it

Data: the profession, city, country, years of experience, industry, education and skills selected in the estimator, and the estimate shown. Do not add other personal information.

Purpose: generating the advice you requested.

Legal basis: providing the feature you request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

Who receives it: Base44, Inc., as our processor, which sends the request to a large language model provider. Base44 lists OpenAI and Anthropic as its AI sub-processors.

How long: SalaryBases does not store the request or the advice. Base44 and its providers may keep technical logs under their own terms.

Accounts — optional

Data: your email address, name if you give it, a password managed by the platform, or the identity returned by Google if you sign in with Google.

Purpose: letting you sign in. No part of the site requires an account.

Legal basis: the contract for the account you request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

Who receives it: Base44, Inc., which runs the sign-in service as our processor.

How long: until you delete the account or ask us to delete it.

Email

Data: your email address, name if you give it and the content of your message.

Purpose: answering you and keeping a record of corrections made to the site.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Who receives it: our email hosting provider (Google Cloud EMEA Limited).

How long: Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to answer the query and, as a general rule, for up to 12 months after the conversation ends. If they have to be kept longer because of a legal obligation or to handle claims, they are kept only for the period that applies.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for any purpose other than those above. We may disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a court or a public authority.

4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Base44, Inc. is a United States company. The sub-processors it lists are located in the United States, and Wix.com Ltd., which provides the platform, in Israel. Base44's Data Processing Addendum relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for these transfers; the European Commission has also found that Israel provides adequate protection. Google may process advertising data in the United States under the same mechanisms.

5. Automated decisions and children

The site makes no decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. Estimates, calculator results and AI advice are information for you to read, not decisions.

The site is not directed at children. If you are under 14, do not create an account or send us personal data.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before. Write to info@drltechnologycom.com saying which right you want to exercise; we may ask for information needed to confirm your identity. We will answer within one month, which the law allows us to extend by two months for complex requests.

If you think your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es) or to the data protection authority of the country where you live.

7. Changes

If the way the site processes data changes, this policy will be updated on this page and the date at the top will change. The Legal Notice and Terms of Use identify the owner in the same way as this policy.
